The Plantronics support guy said you don't need the Spokes software to make the adapter work, just to monitor it and adjust settings. So I know it's an issue with my computer, not the adapter. When I plug this into a different computer with the Spokes software, etc on it, it works fine. The guy from Plantronics, Joey, was most patient and tried to be helpful but didn't have any ideas outside of what I had already tried. I know it's a driver issue but aren't sure where to look or what to do. It used to show, in the picture, that where is says USB Audio as Plantronics BT300. I can see in the Spokes software it is paired but I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it in device manager (the BT300) but what's weird is that it shows as connected before it even finishes installing the driver. The second BT300 I have since given to a friend. My existing BT300 will pair the device but I can't get sound through it. Well, the problems all began after I plugged a second BT300 into my computer. I have a BT300 I use to pair my headsets to my computer. I just got off the phone with Plantronics support, who was, as always, very nice and helpful except they were not able to fix my problem.
